News... January 25, 2006 (8:03pm) Ok, oh jesus, where to begin. There has been too much that has gone on since the last update to really list without heads exploding. However, here is the brief version. Love's Revenge was finished and fished around to a few film festivals. About $300 later we realized we have spent almost the budget of the short on just sending it to summisions. It was a learning experience. Instead of EVER doing that again, we could have just taken that money and made another movie. Shortly after we decided to call it quits on the festival, it was time to make sure all the shorts got completed for this compilation feature. Enter the "Wet Dream" saga. We were bound to keep our mits out of it as much as possible, allowing the director to have totaly freedom in their art. However, the first weekend was the worst weekend any of us have ever taken part in. We were able to pull it out with many changes and last minute problem solving, making it a successfull weekend. The director realized how much work had to actually be put into a movie and dropped all of it on us. Not having any control or artistic direction from the begining, we had to pick it up and do the best we could to save it. That again was filled with many back-breaking obsticals that we had to over come. Everyone helping out on that movie turned out to be true troopers. The actors got into freezing temperature water and actually sumerged their heads for the drowning scenes. Needless to say, there are many stories from this movie, but you may ask us in person about any of them. Shortly after this project most members of Thadius decided to take a well deserved break to recover. Jim, however, pulled a full force drive head first into the film making shitfest. Now he is a member of Wicked Pixel Cinema and helps out on many aspects of their company from financing, marketing to production work, to image design for their website. He also acted as Director of Photography for a feature length filmed titled Student of Leisure, directed by Mark Cange. That production ran during the second half of the Wet Dream shoot and a little past it. Student is a comedy starring Paul Wendell. Towards the end of that production Wet Dream was coming to a final edit. This being so, Jim then ran as FX Unit Director on the feature length movie Flesh For the Devil. This production didnt run for too long and is directed by Eric Stanze. This almost brings us up to the present. Now Jim has been handed down the feature length film (as of now titled) Ron Bonk's Cannibal Holocaust. This production will begin on January 28th (That's right, two days from now!). This will be Jim's first feature length film and is filled with a great cast including Sheila Thiele, Ashleigh Schremmer, Dan Allder, Savage Noble, Graham Kramer, Michael Ketcher, Brandi Nelson, Nik Howard, plus many more awesome people! This is, at most, all that can be remembered of the recent past without serious brain damage. Hopefully, we will keep a more repeated update coming your way. The Zombie Apocalypse has occured and Thadius Pictures along with Chuck Dixie Productions are bringing true stories from real people. See how people are forced to live and survive after their world is taken over by the undead. We proudly present the first Entry into our tales entitled The Lovers. July 26, 2005 (11:35am) Well, we have been really busy lately getting alot of stuff together and working on the Compilation feature. Love's Revenge has been submitted to a few different film festivals and so we will see how that goes. We are shifting gears again and helping out with Wet Dream which will be one of the shorts in the compilation feature. Jim will be running as Director of Photography on a local feature titled Student Of Leisure which is written and directed by Mark Cange. Also be on a look out... We have created a new web series that will be debuting soon, very soon. These will be the on going series called The Zed-Alpha Journals. These will show peoples lives and struggles after the Zombie Apocalypse has happened, so this means lots of zombies and attacks and blood. We are doing this along with Chuck Dixie and the first episode is almost through the editing room already. So all you Zombie fans out there! Prepare yourself! The undead will be rising soon! The Thadius Website will also be going under a few face lifts soon...so keep an eye out for those! June 04, 2005 (2:58pm) Love's Revenge has been brought to a final edit. The other day Gus and Jim went through and tweaked out the last of the scoring and it might be possible to actual see this movie fairly soon. In the next few days Jim will be updating this site a bit and fixing some things that need fixing. As far as the compilation feature goes, Chuck Dixie Productions is about half way shooting their movie The Midnight Visitor, Wet Dream is in pre-production and almost fully casted, and The Shadow People is coming out of pre-production and might shortly go into production. May 06, 2005 (3:11pm) Love's Revenge is going through some heavy Post-Production as of now. Gus Stevenson has jumped aboard to score Love's Revenge. The demo he summited was outstanding and we look forward to seeing what he will bring to the movie. We have gotten good responses to the rough cut that is done. We are now holding auditions for a few movies along with members of Chuck Dixie Productions on May 28th at Art Council of St. Charles County. We are auditioning for a feature length movie. If anyone is interested, please contact us for further information. March 27, 2005 (1:29pm) Love's Revenge will be going into the editing room all of April. Jim and Brigid have basically a completed rough cut of Electric Zombies. To see a teaser for this movie go HERE. We have set down a date for auditions. On April 30th Thadius Pictures, along with Chuck Dixie and Dot Prime Productions will be holding a massive audition. The location of this audition is still being figured out. We will cast for our dramatic short The Price of Perfection. Feb. 22, 2005 (7:38pm) Two days left! We are now down to two shootng days left till Production on Love's Revenge is complete. This last weekend went great, we killed off three people, got them all bloody and sticky and had a great time. We'd like to thank John and Pat from Royalty-N-Exile for coming out and helping this weekend. It's always a pleasure working with those guys. Meetings have also begun with heads of Chuck Dixie Entertainment and Dot Prime Productions on the details of the compilation feature that will feature Love's Revenge. Jan. 26, 2005 (2:22pm) We officially have ten shooting days left for Love's Revenge. In about a week or two we will be shooting all the fun, bloody stuff for the movie. After those two weekends, we will only have four days of pick-up or reshoots plus a diner scene. Jim and Brigid are currently editing John Specht's latest feature "Electric Zombies". This will be put out through Sub Rosa Extreme and will hopefully be completed in a month or so. We had a small paragraph in Playback Magazine about Love's Revenge. A massive audition is being planned right now. This audition will have Thadius Pictures and Chuck Dixie Productions combined to fill spots in up coming shorts. For this audition we will be looking for people for The Price of Perfection. Price will be our stab at the more mainstream, drama genre. This short is going to be mainly for festivals and so we won't be tossed in with "Genre video-filmers". Jan. 02, 2004 (8:22pm) Finally, the Love's Revenge Teaser is up for download.
